Matthew Anderson and Katie DuPrey joined together and through their similar interests created The Reclaimed Refuge. They believe in reusing, repurposing, and renewing. They enjoy adventuring and finding various pieces of wood, metal, or other items and giving them new life. What once was thought to be discarded, they create unique and lasting furnishings and decor. Creativity runs in the family as Matthew’s father creates pottery and Katie’s aunt makes handmade greeting cards while her father restored classic cars.
Matthew Anderson has always had a passion to create and although he can fix just about anything, woodworking has always been his calling. He enjoys building one of a kind pieces that his customers can enjoy for many years.
Katie DuPrey has always had a passion for the environment. Being able to create designs using repurposed materials is her way of respecting and appreciating nature. She has always enjoyed decorating and finding cohesiveness with different materials.
